Tis' the Season
Christmas is often dubbed, "the most wonderful time of the year," complete with its buying, traditions, parties, festivities, and the overall hustle and bustle of the season.
But for the event marketer, warm weather months (i.e. May-September) take that title as schedules are often jam packed with festivals, fairs, fiestas, and other fan fare.
From logistics and premiums, to selecting metrics and target demographics, to choosing technology, music, and ambiance, to securing permits and safety, to graphics and signage, to build-outs and footprints, to staffing and volunteers, to adhering to transportation bylaws and maximizing sponsorships, to leveraging social media and publicity, to catering and hospitality, to solidifying "originality," to following up seamlessly and professionally, to communicating clearly and on-point, to ensuring an overall memorable marketable moment and an unforgettable experience all while adhering to a brand's budget...to countless other tasks and refined details...
Although, it can feel like Santa's elves are working as many hats are worn, many sleepless nights are required, and many hours are spent on conference calls solidifying the exclusive experience and making the magic happen, for the event marketer, we wouldn't have it any other way!
